Summer is almost upon us! Now is the perfect to begin planning your next holiday with the kids. To help you out, we have prepared a lovely travel itinerary that takes in some of the best parts of Europe. It will give the little ones an experience of a lifetime and take you through some of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Take the train from London to Paris
Travelling by train from London to Paris is an excellent way to start the journey. The Eurostar train service takes just over two hours and allows you to spend the journey in air-conditioned comfort while enjoying the sights.
Taking a train means you can take a generous amount of luggage with you. All passengers can take 2 medium sized items plus 1 item of hand luggage. There are three separate travel classes, of which we would recommend the standard premium class. It will give you and your family a dedicated coach and a delicious meal served at your seat.
You will arrive at the Gare du Nord station in Paris all fuelled up and ready to tackle the city!

Travel to Italy Milan via a Train
From Paris, we’ll jump on the train again and head over to Milan in Italy. This is quite a long journey, with train travel taking between 7 hours and 11 hours (depending on the train speed and chosen route).
The train journey is one of the most beautiful scenic routes in the world (so we’d recommend taking your time). It takes travels through some spectacular parts of France, Switzerland and the Italian countryside before reaching Milan.
Aside from its world-leading fashion industry, Milan is known for its incredible architecture, food and wine. You can find some of the world’s best pizza in Milan, so add it to your “things to eat” list!

Summer is the perfect time to visit a water park and Gardaland is one of the best in the world! -

Sempione Park Aquarium
This is a great free attraction in Milan. The aquarium features a diverse collection of fish, crustaceans and turtles from the Mediterranean Sea.
Spend Some Time in Naples
The next leg of the journey involves traveling south to Naples, another beautiful Italian city. Again, we would recommend taking a train there, so you get to enjoy the magnificent Italian landscape. A train ride can take anywhere from 7 to 9 hours, depending on which service you use.
Naples is a very charming city that features some of the most diverse architecture in Europe. It ranges from intricate classical buildings through to the brightly coloured cottages surrounding the harbour. The kids will love the character of the city, as will you!

This ancient Roman city was devastated by a volcanic eruption in AD 79. The site was recovered in 1599 and is one of the world’s most important archaeological discoveries. An incredible destination to visit! -
